About Curing Wrapping Tape
Curing wrapping tapes are high
performance wrapping tapes made up of nylon 6-6 long threads. Threads are
highly tensile in nature and thus special weaving techniques are used for
producing curing wrapping tapes. The high speed weaving technique helps in
lending breaking load, less shrinkage and high tenacity in such tapes. These
tapes require no adhesives as they are self adhering, permanent and self
fusing.
Curing wrapping tapes are extensively used in all forms of fabric hoses,
absorb hoses, high pressure wire braided rubber hose, rubber fender and
other rubber rollers. Whenever wrapped, they fuse to themselves in few
minutes and cure in 24 hours at room temperature.
