The 7th Safety Products Student Design Challenge for the year 2010 is coming soon. 26th Feb 2010 is the deadline to place intent to enter into this Safety Product Student Design Challenge. This challenge is sponsored by the Safety and Protective Products Division and the Narrow Fabrics Institute of the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) and open to the post-secondary students. Challenge of 2009 was won by the A University of Wisconsin Stout design team that worked under the guidance of Dr. Gindy Neibermyer. Winners got cash prizes and an invitation to go to and attend the IFAI Expo in San Diego. This challenge encourages the students to design and develop the narrow fabrics that are functional and safe.
